Jacqui Specialises in Handcrafted Artisan Jewellery
We’d like to introduce our Brisbane jeweller, Jacqui, who is responsible for designing and creating our beautiful handcrafted artisan jewellery.
Jacqui made her start in the jewellery industry 27 years ago. She began in sales, moved into management and then started her jewellery apprenticeship in Western Australia. After completing her apprenticeship, Jacqui worked for the prestigious Thomas Meihofer Jewellery Design in Subiaco.
While Jacqui was working with Thomas Meihofer, she gained experience making high-end, contemporary jewellery and worked with metals including Platinum, Titanium and Steel. Jacqui also had the opportunity to train two apprentices, who have gone on to become award-winning, “apprentice of the year” jewellers!
Jacqui loves every part of her job – from simple repairs to difficult hand-making. Her favourite part of the job is the challenge of designing and crafting fitted wedding bands. She also loves working with Platinum and designing with Pearls. In Jacqui’s words:
“I enjoy watching a piece of jewellery come together, from design concept to completion and seeing the client’s happiness at the outcome”.
